For over 10 years I have had the privilege of personally knowing THE renowned 7 time emmy award winner Mr. Bryan Hickox. And for several years I actually shared a studio with him. (well it was his studio I sorta slept there, followed him around and did whatever he asked) As I think about my "upbringing" in film world this man showed me so much and had so much patience with me as a young aspiring director. I spoke to Mr. H last week and he was on his way to film in Africa (I believe that's what he said) and I said "...wow, you don't slow down you get faster and more efficient..." he just laughed. (He's well over 60 and looks like a million bucks) I thank God for my mentors in life. (I have 4) Knowing him is MY personal honor and forever he sits on the shelf of my heart.
