Upon evaluating the life of Joseph it has been interesting to see the many facets he went through to see his vision that was once only a figment of his imagination became reality. Very similar to many of us, the moment a great idea comes to your mind our first inclination is to tell someone. Joseph’s lighting fast judgement to speak provoked him into an unexpected sequence of downward spiraling events. Although rather premature he managed to allow his steps to be carefully aligned to get him to his ultimate place of destiny. There was great symbolism to the designs of the coat it however ultimately the coat was a sign of favor. During this time it was custom to provide someone of nobility a coat to show appreciation of their great ability. The one thing you look for in your journey to God’s will for your life is - FAVOR.

New York filming Bermuda Clothing Commercial

We have begun production in New York on the commercial for the Bermuda based female clothing line. Once the commercial is released I will disclose the name and website. New York has been the landscape for many fashions and we thought it fitting to use it as the backdrop for this clothing line. id I mention that it feels like it’s 6 degrees outside? Well it does but the mere passion for creation makes the climate take a backseat. I spent some time today scouting locations and bright and early we will begin filming. Stay tuned for the exclusive photos of behind the scenes of production. Every product that they develop always stretches my mind to the enormous possibilities there are in the world. I am filming a commercial in New York next week and the mere glance at this new AppleVision television (65 inches of OMG, 30 bit color debth insanity) has literally changed the creative direction I am going to pursue. The clarity and simplicity is what I want to add to my art form as a filmmaker. ... You will be able to move your hand a certain way to change out icons and change channels. It will be able to store HD movies, those that you buy or create to the tune of 4TB - wowzers. It is speculated to be arriving by Christmas 2012. Brother Spike and I disagree about many positions but I have always admired his courageousness and his accomplishments as writer/director. We talked about Jacksonville and how it was a major hub for the slave trade once upon a time and how that tide has changed in this current time - especially now with a black mayor: wowzer. In the midst of our reflective and reminiscent conversation we were interrupted by a lady that felt Spike should make a movie about the life of Dorthy Dandrith and that SHE should be the staring actress. Not only had Halle Berry already inked this role, and the film is probably at RedBox, but this lady was no Halle Berry. I guess she didn’t think resembling the acclaimed singer was a deal breaker for the film. She went on to SING in front of us and create her own casting moment. ... Lee smiled and took her script and was very polite with her. ... Not JUST the rebellious genius of Dr. House (played by Oxford, England’s, Hugh Laurie) but the visual experience is simply gorgeous. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better their decision use Canon 5D Mark ii for the finale episode told me that we were cut from the same cloth because that’s my camera of choice. Wish I could share it with you now but can’t do so. I can tell you that today sources told me that you may find it in the vicinity of the Speed Network. This was an informative project. It amazes me how devoted people are about their specialty cars. We are scheduled to have it finished this week just in time for a pre-Christmas release. The SEMA show this year was pretty incredible. They had over 40 miles of vehicle and automotive product displayed throughout the convention center. It was pretty amazing. The Mercedes Gullwing that Chip Foose designed was an amazing car. When I asked the sponsors how much the car is worth he said, "priceless..." But he did go on to say that he had a 1 Million dollar insurance policy on it... But finally, just when I thought all hope was gone, I present to you the DeShaun Davis logo. The top letters on the left are my initials DD and the number eight has been a number that has somewhat followed me throughout my career. Not only is it the month I was born in but I just dig the design and shape of the number. (I know I'm a dork) It is also a symbol of infinity (which is kinda cool) AND (drum roll please) known as the number of new beginnings. The abstract circle in the center of the bottom portion of the eight is the circle of a film reel. (I know you are probably saying... man that's just a circle) It symbolizes for me my commitment to making great content through film and other mediums. ... This is the first EVER logo that I have created to represent me. I am happy with it and you will see it on many of my upcoming projects. #chasegod

EMMY HONORS

<dc:subject>HOMEBASE</dc:subject>

For over 10 years I have had the privilege of personally knowing THE renowned 7 time emmy award winner Mr. Bryan Hickox.
